Inner Compass Private Retreat Immersion
A private journey on sacred land at the foot of Chirripó.

Some places do not remind you of life.
They remind you which life is yours.
I arrived at Chirripó a year and a half ago, following something I could not fully explain. Within months, during a silent meditation retreat, the mountain came to me directly, asking me, because of my background in gridwork and earth stewardship, to become its guardian.
I did not choose this place. It chose me. And everything I offer here comes from that living relationship.
This is where I live. This is where I do my work. And this is where I invite a small number of people each year to step out of their life long enough to remember what it was supposed to feel like.
What this Immersion is...
The Inner Compass Immersion is a private experience, three to five days on this land, with me as your guide.
There is no group. No schedule built for twenty people. No one-size-fits-all program.
This is a complete container, including preperation and integration.
We begin with an intake and live assessment to understand where you are, what you are seeking, and what is ready to move. From there, we enter a 1:1 session together before you arrive, so that by the time you set foot on this land, we have already begun the work and I already know your system.
Your days on the mountain are then designed around what is most ready to be seen, felt, healed, or reclaimed. No two immersions look the same.
After you leave, we continue with two integration calls to ensure that what moved on the mountain carries forward into your daily life. The work does not end when you go home. It lands there.

What This Can Look Like
No two immersions are the same.
Some people come carrying something they have been unable to move through years of therapy, coaching, or ceremony. Here, surrounded by land that holds nothing back, it moves.
Some come at a crossroads , a relationship, a career, a calling they cannot yet name, needing space and guidance to see clearly.
Some come because they have built a life that looks right but feels wrong, and they need to find the thread again before they can rebuild.
Some are healers and practitioners who have given everything to their work and need their own container , deeper, more pure and potentnt, and held by someone who can see what they cannot see in themselves.
Some come with a partner, ready to do the sacred and difficult work of true union.
Whatever you arrive with, the land and the work will meet you there.
The Land Itself Is Part Of The Work
This is not a retreat that happens to be in nature.
The mountain, the rivers, the cloud forest, the soil, they are part of the medicine.
Ceremony on the land. Walking in silence through medicinal gardens. Sitting with the mountain at dawn before the words come. Preparing food grown from the ground beneath your feet.
The land does not perform for visitors. It reveals what is already present. And most people discover that what they came looking for was never missing, it simply was buried under everything they built on top of it.
About your guide
My name is Alexa Young
Thomas Michael has lived and worked on the mountain of Chirripó for a year and a half — the last six months rooted on this land as its co-steward and guardian.
He did not arrive here by plan. He followed something he could not fully name, and the mountain met him with a clarity that has not stopped since.'
Thomas brings to his work here decades of initiation within living wisdom traditions, eight months of direct training with Qero Paqo elders in Peru, years of relationship with Aruhuaco Mamas in Colombia, and gridwork across sacred sites on multiple continents. But what he offers at Chirripó is inseparable from the land itself.
The mountain alters what is possible. Its sacred sites, its ancient forest, its rivers and soil participate in the work in ways that cannot be replicated in any other setting.
Rooted here, Thomas is able to hold a container that is wider and deeper than any he could hold elsewhere, drawing on the local biome, the plants, the elements, and the living intelligence of the land itself.
Every immersion activates something unique — in the person who arrives, in Thomas, and in the mountain. Nothing here is repeated. Nothing here is managed.
He simply knows this land well enough to let it do what it came here to do.

This May Be For You If
You feel called to a specific place and you cannot explain why.
You are navigating a threshold in your life and need more than advice — you need to feel the ground under your feet again.
You are a healer or practitioner ready to have your own template seen and worked with.
You and your partner are ready to do the real work of union — not the concept, the lived practice.
You want to be held by land, not by a program.
You have done the retreats, the ceremonies, the workshops — and you are looking for something that goes deeper than any of them did.
